RUFF DAY?

Hey there, happy Monday...it's happy because I took the day off of work.  Ha!  I've got a couple things going on today.  For starters, it's my birthday and I can't possibly think of a better way to spend it than hopping along with my Our Craft Lounge friends in support of breast cancer awareness month!  So how about a little blog candy?  OCL is giving away Granny's Support Team and two jars of pink Sparkly Fluff to one lucky winner!  Leave comments on all of the participating blogs including the OCL blog, and a winner will be selected tomorrow.

OK, now onto my card!  All month long I've been participating in the Hope You Can Cling To card drive sponsored by Splitcoast Stampers.  If you want to check out some of my other projects, click on the "Breast Cancer Awareness" link on my side bar.  At the end of the month, all of the cards that I've made will be mailed to the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and will go to breast cancer patients and their families.  What a great cause, huh?  Jessica's challenge, Pink Ribbon, has become a universal symbol of support for breast cancer awareness.  That's why she wants us to use a pink ribbon on our cards.

I absolutely LOVE to combine sets!  This card uses three OCL sets:  Pat the Dog, Pat the Dawg House and Granny's Support Team.  Pat the Dog (in clear only) is on the retiring list and can be purchase in the OCL store for 40% off while supplies last.  The other two can be purchased at Memories of Time.  When you check out, use the code "Check Us Out" and receive 20% off your entire purchase!  Pretty sweet deal, huh?  If you're lucky enough to live on the Oregon Coast and can stop by the store, Michelle is having a 40% off special plus an additional 10% off on selected items.  If you're interested, links to both stores are in the "Supplies" section at the bottom of this post.

Pat was stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers.  The Out-of-the-Box with a Nestie technique was used (again).  The paw prints on the sentiment was made by coloring on the stamp then "huffing".  The ribbon was colored with an R00 Copic marker to match my project.  A charm was added and button with twine bow completes the card.  I guess that's it for this one...now go forth and hop!

Don't forget to leave comments along the way for a chance to win that awesome blog candy!
