BLOG HOP - FALL FUN

Hey there stampers, if you came from Amber's blog, you've come to the right placeHow about the last two days of Our Craft Lounge's sneak peeks?  Pretty awesome stuff, huh?  My first post was all Halloween, and yesterday's was a Christmas theme so today I'm going back to fall?  I know, I know, I've got my seasons all out of whack!  I'll get it figured out again...but until then, I want to share this cool project that is all fall.

Today's project uses three of the new singles: Fall Scarecrow, Fall Sunflower and Simply Fall.  All three are must haves!   There are lots of pics for this project so kick back and enjoy!  My buddy Cami gave me the idea of doing a tissue box cover.  I found this tutorial on SCS and couldn't wait to give it a try.  OMGosh...it was so much fun!  I know I say that a lot, but come on, look at it...FUN!

I recently bought some new dies from My Favorite Things and Papertrey Ink and couldn't wait to try them out.  The grass is from MFT and the clouds and fence are PTI.  I've been looking for a fence die for a while and haven't really found the right one.  Most I've seen are just too small or too big, but not this one!  In fact, all three dies are the perfect size for card making, or in this case, tissue box making!  *grin*
All of the images were stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers before being cut out.  The fence panels were cut out then embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder before being lightly sponged with brown ink.  The sunflowers, fence, grass, pumpkins...uh, pretty much everything...were all layered.

The leaves were all shaped before they were attached.  Before the clouds were adhered, they were Sparkly Fluffed.  If you haven't used this fluff before, it's awesome!  It's fuzzy to the touch and has little pieces of glittery stuff in there so it really sparkles.  The best part...it comes in a couple dozen different colors!
I left the box itself pretty basic because I wanted my focal point(s) to be the images and not the box.  There are a couple little clouds on the top of the box too.
Copic coloring:

Scarecrow:  B97, B95, B93, B91, YR24, YR21, E37, E35, E33, R08, R05, R02, E77, E74, E71, E70, YR30  Apples/basket:  R08, R05, R02, YG17, YG13, YG11, E47, E44, E43, E25, YG05, YG23, N6, N4, N2  Sunflowers:  Y19, Y18, Y17, Y15, Y11, YG25, YG23, YG21, E87, E81  Pumpkins:  YR15, YR14, YR12, YG17, YG13, YG11, E29, E25, E21  Leaf #1:  R39, R37, R35, YR65  Leaf #2:  YR07, YR04, Y17, Y11  Leaf #3:  YG25, YG23, YG21  Outlines:  110

Just one project to share today...but tons of pictures!  Don't forget, OCL has blog candy to give away.  All you have to do is leave comments on all the designer's blogs and over at The Lounge (that's where you will find the complete list of participants for the last three days too).  If you "like" OCL on Facebook, you will get an extra entry.  Oh, and my favoritest craft store ever, Memories of Time, carries the entire line of OCL products.  All of the new stamps are already in the store and ready to be shipped!

Your next stop is Lori's blog.  Click to go to Lori's blog or click to return to Amber's blog.  Have fun and good luck!  The winners will be announced over at The Lounge on Saturday.
