OCLDT30 - CRYSTAL CLEAR

TGIF!!!  OK, so yesterday I realized...I'm a bone-head!  Yep, sad to say...but definitely true!  I missed my friend's birthday.  Not even by a couple of days...but by a month and a couple of days.  DOH!  I ran down to MOT last night after work and picked up some paper and one of the new OCL Holiday Release sets called Crystal Clear.  I waited until this morning for the new sketch challenge to come out.  What's a couple more hours, right!?!

I think subconsciously, I wanted this set so I conveniently forgot D's bday.  Hmmm...  No, that's not it.  I'm just a bone-head.  No doubt about it!

Anyway, this set is way too cute and really quick and easy to color!  I used Spellbinders to cut out the shapes, Ranger Black Soot to stamp the images and Copic markers to color (see below).  I used a Sakura Clear Glaze pen for the eyes and the crystal ball (I didn't think it was enough so I went back and added Glossy Accents after I took the pic, and I like that much better).

I used a Clear Atyou Spica pen on the stars and moon on the table cloth to make them sparkle and since I'm not into sewing, I did faux stitching on the star designer paper using a Pitch Black Atyou Spica pen.  The DP is from Cloud 9 Design's Halloween Fun collection  (Purple Stars and Thin Stripe).  Hmmm...what else...oh!  I used an SU ticket punch for the sentiment and the ribbon was something I had in my stash.

On the inside, I used the same DP and two more stamps in the set.  I colored with Copic markers and used Glossy Accents on the crystal ball.

Guess that's it.  Hope she likes it!  Better late than never, right?  Now to remember to mail it!

Thanks for looking!

Tam
