DTGD13Understandblue2 - SNOW FRIENDS

Hey there, I'm thrilled to be participating this year in Splitcoaststampers 8th Annual Dare to Get Dirty challenges!  DTGD is our way of saying thanks to the most amazing Fan Club members ever!  So what's this about, you ask?  Easy...it's all about you, silly!  Our Dirty Dozen Designers, both past and present, have gotten together and planned a super fun week for you!  Besides the stamping end of it, the girls will be hanging out in the chat threads waiting to dish the dirt!  Yep...if you've ever wondered how someone does something, ask away...we'd love to share our dirty little secrets with you!  Everyone will be able to see our DTGD projects, but only the Fan Club members will be able to see what the specific challenge details are or participate in the challenges!  Come join in the fun!  Not a member but want to be?  Not a problem...join here!  Ooohhhh...and did I mention prizes?  I thought that might have gotten your attention!  *grin*  Click here for more info!

Christmas in August...ha!  I had fun making those other two Christmas cards for the DTGD challenges, so I decided to go with one more only with non-traditional colors.  This is for Lydia's (Understandblue) challenge.  Prescott is from Whipper Snapper Designs and I don't think it's possible to get any cuter than this!  This card also fits with Designed to Color's Color Inspiration challenge.

The imaged was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto a scrap of Neenah card stock.  It was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then set aside.  The embossed "snow" on the Nestie layer was done by hand...I didn't want the outside ring to have the embossing, so I used a stylus and the embossing folder to get the texture.  The snowman and bird were popped up on foam and a glittery snowflake, button and bow combo completes the card.

COPIC COLORING:
SNOWMAN:  BV20, BG70, 0  CARROT NOSE, BIRD'S BEAK:  YR16, YR15, YR12, YR00  SWEATER, MITTEN, SCARF, HAT BAND:  YG67, YG63, YG61, Y17, Y15, Y11, Y00  TOP HAT:  C6, C4, C2, C0  SKATES:  C6, C4, C2, C0, C3, C1, C00  BIRD:  Y17, Y15, Y11, Y00  BIRD'S HAT, SCARF:  YG67, YG62, YG61  SNOW:  BV20, BG70, 0

So precious!  These little guys were so much fun to color!  I have one more project to post for the DTGD challenges...stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by!
