CAS356 - SNOW WILSON

Hey there, it's time for this week's CAS challenge, Some People are Worth Melting For, to use a snowman on your project.  I've had Tom & Jerry from Whipper Snapper Designs for a while and have been hoping to ink it up.  Do you remember that old tv show, Tool Time?  This stamp totally reminded me of when Wilson, the neighbor, would peek over the fence to talk with the Taylors'.  *grin*  The fun layout is Freshly Made Sketches #217 and was perfect for this image!  I'm also entering this into the Color Throwdown #373 ~ Any Christmas Creation, Any Colors.

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut and set aside.  The bottom portion of the background panel was masked, liquid masking fluid was spritzed and after it dried, Summer Sky was sponged then the liquid mask was removed revealing a snow-filled sky.  The snowman/bird were glued to the back of the fence then popped up on foam.  A Copic Multiliner was used to complete the snowman's mouth because it showed behind the "dog-eared" fence.

COPIC COLORING:
SNOWMAN, SNOW:  BV20, BG70  NOSE:  C6, C4, C2, C0  TOP HAT:  C6, C4, C2, C0, B37, B34, B32, R56, R46, R43  BUCKLE, BELL, BEAK, FEET:  Y28, Y26, Y23  BIRD:  B37, B34, B32  HAT:  R56, R46, R43, C2, C0

Thanks for stopping by...head to the CAS Forum to play along!
