EASTER FUN

Hey there, have you noticed my poor, neglected blog lately?  *sigh*  My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.  It's been devastating news and has taken a tole on the family.  My blog just hasn't seemed as important lately.  I have managed to make a couple Easter cards...I need to decide which one to give her.  Out of everyone, she has enjoyed my cards the most.  At any given time, you can stop by her house and she's got a half dozen cards on display.  If she notices you admiring them, she's quick to jump up and tell you all about them.  LOL!

This first card is an Our Craft Lounge image called Pea-Nut Bunny.  I absolutely adore coloring Pea-Nut!  This is the first time inking up this stamp and it's just as fun as all the others!  Memento ink was used to sponge the Nestie and die the matching seam binding.

Here's the inside...

This is the other card that uses a Whipper Snapper image called Chick Magnet.  It's been forever since I used a stamp from a company other than OCL.  I love their stuff...they are too freakin' adorable!  I've probably got a dozen of their images on my desk all colored up waiting to be made into cards.  They were just so much fun to color!

So sorry about your MIL. Cancer is such a horrible thing. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Both cards are adorable. Love Pea-nut but those chicks are sooooo cute! :)
