2012 VALENTINE SNEAK PEEK

Hey there, are you ready for another Our Craft Lounge Sneak Peek / Blog Hop?  I know I am!  *grin*  This first card uses two stamp sets...well, actually one set and one single...Love in the Air and Spilling over.  Last month I learned this really cool technique from Just Us Girls Challenge Blog called Ghosting.  I made a Christmas card with the technique and I couldn't wait for this release so I could try it with the hot air balloons!  It's such a cool effect and I'm a sucker for sponging!  The only thing I did different than in the SCS tutorial (link is in the Details section below), is that I heat set white craft ink on Neenah card stock before sponging (I haven't tried VersaMark on glossy paper...yet).  Oh, I also masked and sponged the blue sky on the Copic colored balloon so it would blend in with the background before it was fussy cut and popped up on foam.

Here's the inside...

Copic coloring:

Hot air balloon:  R29, R27, R24, R22, R85, R83, R81, W3, W1, W00  Inside image:  BG0000, BG70, W3, W1, W00, R29, R27, R24, R22, R85, R83, R81, RV02, RV00, RV000, RV0000
