PRETTY IN PINK!

Hey there, I'm back with another fun Hope You Can Cling To challenge card for the breast cancer card drive over at Splitcoast Stampers.  Lydia's challenge is Pink Critters; she wants to honor the world's critters and is challenging us to use a critter image and turn it pink.  Okey-dokey then!  I chose this cute little guy from Our Craft Lounge's Penguin Fun set.

He's pretty cute, but I'm not convinced penguins should be pink!  LOL!  My little penguin friend was stamped on white card stock then colored with Copic markers.  I did the out-of-the-box with Nestabilities technique with a circle and cut a second circle (same size) then tore a piece for the snow bank.  Stickles were applied to the torn area and it was popped up on foam.  The three snowflakes and the background shape are all Die-namics dies.  A twine bow finishes the card.

The inside sentiment uses a new OCL single called Vintage Ornaments.  It's a beautiful script that Marianne Walker, from I Like Markers blog, drew by hand.  I wish I could write like that!  Well, I guess that's about it.
