I bought this super cute set yesterday called Flyin' Birthday from Our Craft Lounge and couldn't wait to use it. It's an old set but I don't think I've ever seen it before! How could I have missed it?!? It's perfect for creating male cards and it has an awesome hot air balloon that I can't wait to make something with!
This turned out to be a simple card. The image was stamped on white card stock and colored with Copic markers. The layers were made with Spellbinders dies and popped up on foam. The sentiment was stamped with black ink then cut out to create a banner. A small slit was cut by the plane's tail and the twine was poked through and taped to the back. An extra propeller was stamped, colored then popped up on foam for a 3D effect.
Glossy Accents were applied to the center of the propeller, goggles and plane's windshield. The inside is the aviator delivering a cake to the birthday boy. I guess that's about it. I wish you a crafty World Card Making Day!
