Hey there, I'm back with my last Wonderful Wednesdays project...I've had a blast this month as Stamping Bella's Guest Designer! Love, love, love their fun stamps! I decided to go with a CAS (Clean and Simple) layout featuring the adorable Santa has a Prezzie. Seriously cute, huh?
Santa was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar white, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then popped up on foam for a little extra dimension. He was stamped a second time on the background panel so I wouldn't have to try to cut out all those curly cue details. The yummy Lawn Fawn plaid is the perfect paper for Santa (I've never met a plaid I didn't like...ha)!
So, I have some exciting news to share. Hubby and I are buying a new home! It was kind of an unexpected purchase since we weren't house shopping! LOL It's actually at the end of the street that we've lived on for the last 20 years. I'm excited to get a much bigger crafty space! We sign tonight, get the keys tomorrow and I head to Ikea on Friday! Gotta love that, huh? *wink* Since we'll be in limbo for a while, this will be my last post. I'll be sure to pop in and share pictures of my new studio in the making. Did I mention how excited I am??? Whoop whoop! OMGosh...there's so much to do and so many decisions to make!

Hey there, so happy to be back again for this round of Wonderful Wednesdays with Stampingbella. Today I chose this A-Mazing Halloween image...The Wizard, The Witch and the Cauldron Chicks! Those chicks are always getting into trouble...yikes!
They were stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers. Three weeks in and I think I finally got the hang of those markers again! LOL I kept the card extremely CAS (clean and simple). I figured the background paper was bold, bright and super busy but not busy enough to distract from the image. Anything else would have been overkill. However, I couldn't resist adding Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay to the "spell" and potion for a nice, subtle shine. Love, love love that glitter pen! It's just clear sparkle without gold undertones. It's a must have, for sure! I also used a clear glaze pen for the chick's glasses. It really is the little details that make all the difference!

Hey there sistahs, I'm back as a guest designer for week 2 of Wonderful Wednesdays with Stamping Bella. I'm so glad Em asked me to do this...I'm having so much fun coloring again, and these images...don't even get me started! *swoon*
This cutie-patootie, Tiny Townie Autumn Loves Autumn, was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers. She was fussy cut because I thought I was going to do a little sponging behind her...that didn't happen. D'oh! The image was stamped a second time on a My Favorite Things wonky rectangle panel then the background was colored with Copics. She was glued directly over the top. Two Taylored Expressions leaves was all that was needed to complete the card.
Did you know if you saturate the card stock with Copic ink then shape them with your fingers they will dry fairly hard, almost as if they were starched? It's really pretty cool! Glossy Accents were used for water drops on the leaves and Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay adds a nice shimmer on the mushroom cap. Totally in love with that pen...it's clear...no gold undertones. It doesn't distract from the coloring at all!

Hey there, bet you're wondering whatever happened to me, huh? Well, I've been around...just not getting crafty...until yesterday, that is! Em, from Stampingbella, invited me to be a Wonderful Wednesdays guest designer for the month of October. You know what that means, right!?! I'll be around for at least one month before I disappear again! *grin*
Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers. How cute is she!?! Seriously! The sunflower is an older Susan's Garden die. It's a little big, but I thought it would be perfect to go with the pretty sunflower in her hair. A Clear Overlay pen from Spectrum Noir was used to put a little sparkle in the bees wings and the ruffle on her dress. I'm not going to lie...it was nice blowing the dust off my Copics! I guess that's it for me today...check back next Wednesday to see what I've been up to!

Hey there, it's been a quick last couple of months and all good things must come to an end. This is my last post as La-La Land Crafts Guest Design Team member. Thank you, Debbie Pamment, for inviting me to be a part of such a super nice group of ladies...so flippin' talented! Today's challenge, Add Roses. I really, really LOVE making flowers, so this was right up my alley! *grin* Kick back, I've got a handful of pictures to share with you. I decided to make a gift bag using Winter Princess Marci.
Here's a close up of just the colored image and die cut pieces. LLLC's Lattice Doily Border is absolutely perfect for adding bling! Check out all those rhinestones! What you can't see in the photo, is all the shimmer! All of the white parts of Marci's dress, the doily die cuts and the white flourishes are covered with Clear Wink of Stella.
Here is an angled view...such dimension with those flowers! The sentiment was cut directly from the Copic colored banner. I cut 4-5 sentiments from white cardstock then "inlaid" the sentiment. Cool effect!
OMGosh...how beautiful is that Mini Hybrid rose from My Favorite Things? *swoon* The rose was colored to match Marci's dress.
This one is a tad bit blurry, but you get the gist. The veins of the poinsettia were colored with Copic markers then it was shaped. The rose is just the center part to the MFT Mini Hybrid Rose. It has the perfect hidy hole for it to peek out!

Hey there, just popping in with this week's La-La Land Crafts challenge, Thanksgiving or Thanks. I did a little of both by using Pilgrim Luka on a thank you card.
Luka was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then popped up on foam. The background panel was sponged with Toffee Crunch then Peanut Brittle. Peanut Brittle was splattered onto the panel with a paint brush, and a Sizzix die cut sentiment completes the card.

Hey there, Little Miss Muffet has a color challenge starting today. The theme is Neapolitan Icecream so the colors are brown, pink and cream. A couple weeks ago I won one of their challenges and was asked if I would like to be a guest designer for an upcoming challenge. I fell in love with their little monsters and couldn't wait to color one of them! If you would like to participate in the challenge, head on over to their blog for all the details!
My father-in-law needed a thank you card for the neighbors who helped when my mother-in-law was diagnosed with brain cancer. They are both wonderful people and were there every day for my in-laws and continue to be there for my FIL even after she passed. They are driving their big, old motor home to an out-of-state family reunion, so my FIL decided to give them some gas gift cards to help out along the way. The monster was colored, fussy cut out then adhered directly to the card stock. The dark patches have Coffee Bean Brown Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge on them. It's cool to work with and gives cards that touch-ability factor. Love that! Oh, and the sentiments were computer generated.
Here's the inside...easy peasy gift card holder. I resized the digi and made a smaller one for the inside. I guess that's about it for this one.
