Hey there, I thought I would play along with My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #263. Birdie Brown's Adorable Elephants were still on my desk, so I couldn't resist using them again. They're so cute and super fun to color!
I started by cutting a reverse mask with MFT's Square Stax then taped it down with blue painter's tape. Memento Summer Sky and one of the smaller clouds from Jumbo Cloud Stax was used to sponge the background clouds. The elephant and balloon were stamped twice with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar white; once onto the background then a second time onto a scrap piece of Neenah. They were colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then adhered directly to the background. The balloon has Clear Wink of Stella then several coats of clear glaze pen to give it a nice, subtle shine. Two Flat Bottom Clouds were cut from vellum and Neenah then colored with Copics. They were popped up on foam to finish the card.
COPIC COLORING:
ELEPHANT: C6, C4, C2, C0, R000 BALLON: R56, R46, R43
