Hey there, it's time for the Baker's Dozen Studio Challenge (a monthly opportunity for the DT to share what makes our stamping studios hum...each month we're asked a fun, crafty question so we can share our favorite products, tips/tricks, stamping advice and more).

The question for September is:
We’re continuing our month-long TE Birthday Bash celebration with a special birthday-inspired Studio Challenge!  Sometimes all we need to help us create is to simply see something that is beautiful, cool, or unique.  Did you know that Taylored Expressions has over 30 boards on Pinterest filled with crafty eye-candy?  We’d love to have you follow us at
Today’s challenge:  choose a photo from Taylor’s Birthday Inspiration Pinterest Board to inspire a stamped creation!

There are some awesome inspirational pictures to choose from in the birthday board.  I absolutely love everything about this I didn't change much about it.

Here's my version...

I die cut the mason jar, cut the handle off to mimic the inspiration photo then colored it with Copic markers without stamping it to give it a softer look.  The lemon and straw were stamped with Tuxedo Black after it was stamped off several times.  The My Mind's Eye paper was perfect!

JAR:  BG72, BG70, 0  LEMON:  Y15, Y11, Y00, Y000, Y0000  STRAW:  R00, R000, R0000, C1, C00, 0

STAMPS:  TE Hey Sweet Tea
PAPER:  Neenah Solar White (aka Bazzill Coconut Swirl Smoothies); Bazzill Cinder Monochromatic; My Mind's Eye
INK:  Copic markers; Memento Tuxedo Black; SU Blush Blossom
ACCESSORIES:  Spellbinders Grand Calibur; TE Taylored Dies (Mason Jar Glass & Lid, Party Banner Border); paper snips; Stamp-a-ma-jig; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Thin 3D Foam Squares; adhesive
SIZE OF FINISHED PROJECT:  A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2")

There are prizes up for grabs on today's blog hop...all you have to do is play along!  Details are on the TE blog.  Prepare yourself to be inspired...check out what the Baker's Dozen has been up to!

Thanks for stopping by!
