JUN13VSNMINI3 - HELLO, FRIEND!

Hey there, I'm back with yet another project for the Dog Days of Summer Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) through Splitcoaststampers!  Angie's challenge, Summer Circles, is to make a card with circles...lots and lots of circles (ok...she wants more than one...I went with lots and lots! *grin*)!  The image is Makin Friends from Whipper Snapper Designs, and the layout is The Deconstructed Sketch #86.  My card also follows the Fan Club Central Theme of Hope Floats (butterfly floating in air).

I hope you dig out those "circles" and play along with us!

JUN13VSNMINI2 - HO, HO, "OH"!

Hey there, I'm back with another Dog Days of Summer Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) challenge through Splitcoaststampers!  Whoop!  Marg is from Australia and celebrates Christmas during the summer.  Her challenge, Christmas in the Sun, is all about creating a fun, bright Christmas card (no snow) with an extra bonus of using glitter on our projects.  I thought of Surfin' Santa from Our Craft Lounge (*sniff* I miss OCL).  I colored him with Copic markers then used the CAS layout from SCS's SC432 challenge.  My card also follows the Fan Club Central Theme of Hope Floats (surf board floating on water) and the Wordplay challenge, BUOY...here's the break down:

B = Santa has mad "balancing" skillz!
U = "uber" talented surfer!
O = Ho, Ho, "OH" (careful, Santa!)
Y = "yellow" star

I hope you dig out your "tropical Christmas" stamps and play along with us!

ALL OCCASION

Hey there, happy Saturday!  I thought I'd pop in and share a quick card made with Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month:  Simple Greetings and the April Key Ingredients Kit.  I love how well the stamps match the pattern paper from Park Bench!

This was a super easy card.  The rosette was made out of paper from the kit and was topped off with die cut Nesties.  The vintage white marble brad was colored with Copic BG72 to match the paper while a couple die cut banners complete the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

THANK YOU GIFT SET BOX

Hey there, do you remember that set of thank you cards that I posted for the April Studio Challenge?  Well after I knocked them around my desk for a couple days, I decided they needed a box!  While I was goofing around on Pinterest, I came across this box and was inspired to make my own.  Hers was for vertical cards and I wanted mine to be horizontal, so I played around and came up with a layout.  I used the same Acrylic Block Background technique as the cards and created a panel for the front.  The only difference is that I didn't use a sentiment and a Sparklet was used for a center on one of the flowers.  A bow keeps the box closed.

Here's what it looks like open...there is room for all four cards and envelopes.

And here are a couple of the cards with the closed box...it sure makes a pretty set!

Thanks for stopping by!
