Hey there, this week's CAS challenge has to do with a color wheel. My birth color on the wheel is red and the surrounding colors are pink and orange. Kind of unusual color combo, huh? I decided flower die cuts would be the easiest way to combine the colors.

Hey there, it's time for this week's CAS challenge, Some People are Worth Melting For, to use a snowman on your project. I've had Tom & Jerry from Whipper Snapper Designs for a while and have been hoping to ink it up. Do you remember that old tv show, Tool Time? This stamp totally reminded me of when Wilson, the neighbor, would peek over the fence to talk with the Taylors'. *grin* The fun layout is Freshly Made Sketches #217 and was perfect for this image! I'm also entering this into the Color Throwdown #373 ~ Any Christmas Creation, Any Colors.
The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut and set aside. The bottom portion of the background panel was masked, liquid masking fluid was spritzed and after it dried, Summer Sky was sponged then the liquid mask was removed revealing a snow-filled sky. The snowman/bird were glued to the back of the fence then popped up on foam. A Copic Multiliner was used to complete the snowman's mouth because it showed behind the "dog-eared" fence.

Hey there, today was a perfect (stormy) day to stay indoors and color! Even better...my son and his girlfriend stopped by for a little visit! That makes me a happy girl! *grin* Today's CAS challenge, Trim the Tree, is to use a tree image. I took some liberties for the "tree" and used Savannah Has a Star from Stamping Bella. Oh my, that dress was so fun to color!!!
She was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic Markers. Clear Wink of Stella was used on the star, glass and ornaments. A clear glaze pen was used on the glass and garland for a nice, subtle shine. The fun layout is this week's Stamping Bella challenge.

Hey there, back with card number two for the Evergreen CAS challenge at SCS...this was the layout I was telling you about. I created it by spritzing the panel with masking fluid, letting it dry then sponging Pistachio and Bamboo Leaves over the top. The snow-filled sky pops after the mask is gently rubbed off.
The adorable Snowflake image is from C.C. Designs. Don't you love her rosy cheeks? She was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. The snowflakes have Clear Wink of Stella and a silver rhinestone in the center. The layers were all popped up on foam.

Hey there, I've got two cards to share with you today. They are both for this week's Evergreen, monochromatic greens, CAS challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. I actually made a different background for this cutie pie, but it was too much white and I just wasn't feeling it.
Frosty is from C.C. Designs and is so much fun to color! He was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. In keeping with the "green" theme, the snowman suit was colored with my favorite snow combo...green...blue green to be more precise. Mask It was used to cover the bottom portion of the panel then a liquid masking fluid was spritzed with a toothbrush. After it was dry, Pistachio was sponged over the top then I used my finger to rub off the masking fluid after it was done. I actually got this idea for the layout from a card that Kim O'Connell recently made. Love it! I left off the sequins and added a die cut element in the corner. Well, I guess that's about it.
