EAT MY DUST!

Hey there, happy Bellarific Friday to ya!  This week we had an amazing photo to use as inspiration and since fall is my all time favorite season, I loved it!  As I looked at the photo trying to decide what I wanted to make, I started thinking about the drives hubby and I take just to look at the fall foliage.  Then I focused on the tire swing.  Tire...drive...see where I'm going here?  Meet "Senior"-ita Dolores!  Isn't she a hoot!?!  Dolores jumped on the ol' scooter and away she went for a drive just to admire all the fall colors!

Dolores was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then popped up on foam.  The oranges weren't quite dark enough, so I added some additional shading with a couple T markers...did you know you could deepen your shadows that way?  Love my Ts, even though I don't break them out very much.  The headlight and goggles both have Sakura Clear Glaze on them for a nice, subtle shine.  Oh, and that cool CAS layout is Sweet Sunday Sketch #240.

CAS CHRISTMAS MAKE 'N TAKES

Hey there, guess what...I've combed blogland and Pinterest and found TONS of inspiration for CAS (Clean and Simple) Christmas cards!  For those that like to make your cards in advance or for all the procrastinators out there (yep, that's me...*guilty*), I've decided to put together some Make 'N Take kits to sell at Memories of Time...you can make them in the store any time during business hours or make them from the comfort of your own home!  Watch for Cami to post details on the blog soon!

This first card was CASED from yours truly.  My friend, Cathy, loved this card that I made while on Splitcoaststamper's Dirty Dozen (you have to be an SCS Fan Club member to see it).  Don't you just love a white on white Christmas card?  It doesn't get much easier than this!  I made stickers out of the letters using Scor-Tape...my new fav thing!  The snowflake was layered then popped up on foam and topped off with a Crystal Sparklet.

MFT dies make this next CAS layout a snap!  Doodlebug paper was used for the snow-filled sky while MFT dies create the winter scene.  The sentiment stamp is from Our Craft Lounge and is no longer available.  The snowdrifts were layered with foam, Stickles were applied to the edges of the snow/trees and silver rhinestones complete the card.

HAT-BEE BIRTHDAY!

Hey there, this is one of the cards I colored a while ago.  I hadn't done any paper crafting for months, and when I finally sat down and colored, I didn't hardly put my markers down for a week!

This card was so fun to make!  The image is Hat-Bee Birthday from Whipper Snapper Designs.  It was stamped several times with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers.  The layers were fussy cut then popped up on foam.  The wings have Clear Wink of Stella and the nose has Sakura Clear Glaze for a nice, subtle shine.

Here's a side view so you can see the layers.  One wing, the body, the head and hat is the second layer; the head and hat are the third layer and the nose is the last.  That's four layers in all!

The pretty flower is a MFT die that was shaped with Susan's Garden Tool kit.  The kit has EVERYTHING you can possibly need to shape realistic looking flowers.  LOVE!

BOO

Hey there, I had some time to color yesterday and I couldn't wait to ink up Whipper Snapper Designs Pumpkin Snowman.  I had a blast coloring this adorable image!  See that orange panel at the top?  It was inspired by this amazing card by Sandy Allnock.  I've used my Copics to color large spaces in the past, so why not color a "faux paper panel" to make everything matchy matchy?  I'll definitely be doing this technique again!

The stitched panel was cut using My Favorite Things Blueprints 15...I'm hooked on that die right now!  The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto  Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers.  Sakura Clear Glaze gives the kitty's nose a nice, subtle shine.  Black twine was wrapped around the panel and a Tim Holtz stencil was used to sponge the sentiment on a die cut from the Blueprints 15 set.  LOVE!  The panel was popped up on foam to finish it off.  Easy peasy!

WARM WINTER WISHES

Hey there, happy Bellariffic Friday to ya!  OK, you got me...it's Saturday...I had a super busy day yesterday, so I didn't get around to posting my card.  Better late than never, right!?!  *grin*  Have you had a chance to check out the new Stamping Bella store/blog?  O...M...G...it's AWESOME!  I absolutely LOVE everything about it!  It's super easy to navigate, the check out process was a snap, but the best part...the distribution center was relocated to the United States making shipping even more affordable!  Can I hear a whoop?  While you're over there drooling all over the new release, give Em some much deserved luv for all her hard work!  As Em would say, *mwah* to da sistahs that share the love!  LOL!

Now onto my card...I've been dying to color Uptown Girl Quinn and Her Boots!  She's beautiful and colored up much faster than I thought she would!  Quinn was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then colored with Copic markers.  In order for her scarf to wave in the wind, she was cut out using the Out-of-the-box technique.  The snowflake and Sparklet were colored to match Quinn's outfit then popped up on foam.  I'm kinda bummed...the pattern paper didn't photograph all that great.  Part of the plaid and some of the snowflakes are actually purple...they came out more blue than purple in the photos.  Note sure why, but it is what it is.  Am I right?  Last but not least, Quinn's shadow in the snow was highlighted with a Wink of Stella pen for a nice, subtle shimmer.

COPIC COLORING:

Hope you can join in for next week's Bellariffic Fridays Inspiration challenge...interpret the photo any way you like.  Email your card to Em by Thursday, October 16, to be included on Bloggabella...you could win some Bella Bucks, but you have to use a current stamp!  I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!  GORGEOUS fall colors, just sayin'...

MONSTER MASH TREAT BAGS

Hey there, sooo, what's everyone doing for World Card Making Day?  I'll be hanging out with the girls at Memories of Time (MOT) celebrating the store's "Grand Re-Opening".  The store sold a few months ago, and we're super excited that Rhea bought it!  She's determined to keep it "Our Happy Place"...woohoo, Rhea!  So if you're going to be on the Oregon Coast this weekend...stop by and hang out with us!

My project for the Make-N-Takes will be these fun treat bags from Taylored Expressions.  Super cute, huh?

Gotta love how adorable the bat is!  The wings are easily shaped with fingers and can even be pulled in tighter around the body.  So fun!

Here's Frankie!  He was a lot of fun to make.  His face can literally be made up so many different ways it's unbelievable!

I know the monster isn't necessarily for Halloween...but done up in orange and purples and it totally screams Halloween!  And how about that plaid tongue!?!

Whatever you do on World Card Making Day, I hope it's crafty!  Thanks for stopping by!
