Hey there, this is the last SCS Comfy & Cozy VSN card that I had time to make. This card is made for Cat's (aka catdidit) challenge, Cards on Fire and it's a play on the Hunger Games. She wants us to use an image of a fire or make a card with mostly red. Since I already had Santa colored, I decided to go with mostly red. It was still missing something so I broke out the bling...it was just what this card needed!
Thanks for stopping by! SUPPLIES: STAMPS: WSD Santa Tag PAPER: Neenah Solar White INK: Copic markers; Memento (Tuxedo Black, Lady Bug, Rhubarb Stalk) ACCESSORIES: Spellbinders (Grand Calibur, Standard Circles Small and Large); MFT Fishtail Flag Stax die; paper snips; sponges; KaiserCraft red rhinestones; OCL Sparkly Fluff; Zig 2-way Glue pen; Sakura Clear Glaze pen. Hey there, I've had this image colored and on my desk since this summer. Heck...all the layers were cut too! I figured it was time to finish it up! This is Squeaky Baker from Whipper Snapper Designs. Pretty cute, huh? I decided not to put a sentiment on it so it could be used for anything. Lydia's challenge is to be inspired by your favorite comfort food or drink. Squeaky Baker has got that covered. Ha!

Hey there, here are the last three cards for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN. This image is called Penguin Christmas and it's from Whipper Snapper Designs 2012 Fall/Winter release. Love! Alison's challenge is to be inspired by the song "Sleigh Ride". This stamp is perfect!
Hey there, here's another tag for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN. I had actually created this for something else...but never got around to finishing it. Sooo...here it is! It fits in Lynn's critter challenge (probably better than the last tag). The kitty is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is called Meowy Christmas.
Hey there, I'm back with a tag for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN challenge. Lynn wanted us to include an image of a critter on our projects, so I decided to use a Whipper Snapper Designs image called Arctic Buddies. Aren't they adorable!?!

Hey there, this was a super fun project for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN challenge! KelliJo is having a cookie challenge...either use cookies in your stamped image or make a cookie shaped card. I made a tag that features the Mrs. taking a plate of milk and cookies to her hubby. She's from Whipper Snapper Designs and is actually a gift tag only I masked the "to" and "from" so I could make her into a card...only I changed my mind and did this tag instead (go figure!). The stamp is called Mrs. Claus Tag and I love her in all her pudginess!

Hey there, here's another card for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN challenges. Sabrina wanted us to use pinecones and evergreens on our projects. Fine by me! I've been wanting to try out the rolled rose die for a pinecone...they almost look real! The super cute snowman and bird image is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is called A New Winter Friend. So sweet! It was colored with Copic markers, cut out with the out-of-the-box with a Nestie technique then popped up on foam. The foliage are a mixture of dies and punches and topped off with three beads from my stash (kinda looks like berries, huh?).

Hey there, are you ready for Day 2 for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN? I sure am! This is actually my challenge and it's a photo inspiration challenge. I loved the photo as soon as I saw it and it reminded me of all those holiday movies that I love! The shopkeeper looks suspiciously like the jolly man in the red suit so that's what I went with. I love this Santa & Puppy stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs! It was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then popped up on foam. Doesn't get any easier!
Hey there, can you believe I'm back with another SCS Comfy & Cozy VSN challenge project? LOL! This one is for Lee's Flannel & Cocoa challenge to use plaid and the color brown in our projects. I LUV plaid! This card uses the super cute Donner stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs. The sentiment was computer generated, die cut, colored then popped up. Super simple card!

Hey there, here is one more card for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN. Val wanted us to use some type of fabric on our project...I went with felt. This is the last of the Whipper Snapper Designs snowmen, Snowman Skater, that I had colored to make a banner. I used a Spellbinders snowflake behind the image and popped everything up...easy peasy!

Hey there, this is the third challenge for SCS's Comfy & Cozy VSN today. Brenda is a quilter at heart so she challenged us to create a project using a quilt. Oh boy...I don't sew so this one kinda freaked me out! After the Hope You Can Cling To challenges, someone gave me an awesome link to this quilt tutorial. It's so much fun and it's a great way to use up some of those scraps! This card uses another of the Whipper Snapper Designs, Tophat Snowman/Bird, images that I had previously colored to make a banner. It was cut using the out-of-the-box with a Nestie technique and a few buttons complete the card.
Here's the inside...same quilting technique, but I didn't emboss this one.

Hey there, I'm back with the second SCS Comfy & Cozy VSN challenge for today. Dina challenged us to use "cool" colors...blues, greens, purples. If you're a Fan Club member, you may recognize this little guy. I created a banner for the November Dirty Dozen Hang It All theme with him...actually with one just like him. After I made the banner, I colored three more snowmen so I could make a another one but uh, well...that never happened. Since he was sitting there collecting dust...and he was perfect for Dina's cool color challenge, I decided to go ahead and make a card out of him. *grin* This is Whipper Snapper Designs Stick Snowman and he's adorable! The out-of-the-box with a Nestie technique was used to cut him out and the stick pin was one that I made for an upcoming Dirty Dozen project that didn't get used. Since I used items from other projects...this card went together pretty quickly! *grin*

Hey there, Splitcoaststampers is having a Comfy & Cozy Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) marathon this weekend! This is my first time hostessing one of the challenges and I'm having a blast! To kick off the event, Patti created an awesome sketch! I thought Whipper Snapper Designs Bartholomew would be perfect nestled in there! The sentiment was computer generated.

Hey there, Splitcoaststampers is having a Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) on December 14th and 15th and to kick off the event, they are having a VSN mini this weekend...the theme is Comfy & Cozy. Lisa's (aka SinCityGal) challenge, Hot Beverage, is to create a project with a hot beverage on it. My card technically doesn't have a hot beverage...but it did before this little guy moved in! The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it's called Not Even a Mouse. Way too cute!
Here's the inside...pretty basic but it does the trick.
