DEAR SANTA, DEFINE GOOD...

Hey there, here's a Christmas card made with Whipper Snapper Designs Good/Bad Santa.  The sentiment was computer generated...and I don't think it could have been more perfect!  LOL!  Santa was stamped twice.  The ground and sky were colored on the panel before it was embossed and the second Santa was colored and fussy cut out.  A clear glaze pen was used on his glasses and boots and a little Sugar Sparkly Fluff, from Our Craft Lounge, was used on the puff ball and brim of the hat.  It's kind of like flock...but with spah-kle!  *grin*  The fussy cut Santa was adhered directly to the panel.  A layered snowflake completes the card.

Here's the inside...

TRICK OR TREAT!

Hey there, have you been feeling it?  Fall is definitely in the air!  Chilly in the morning...warm in the afternoon.  I'm looking forward to all the beautiful colors of the changing leaves!  Halloween is right around the corner, so I decided to make a card using a super cute stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs called My Favorite Mummy.  The night sky DP is from Graphic 45...LOVE it!  Of course, no card is complete until it has been glazed!  I've been on a Sakura Clear Glaze pen kick lately so I just HAD to add some to this card too.  *grin*  (The  mummy's eyes and the pumpkin have been glazed.)

Here's the inside...

TO THE HAPPY COUPLE...

Hey there,  I've got a lot of pictures to share with you today!  My hubby's niece just got married and this is the card/box I made for her.  It's a little different than what I normally create.  I love to color and, well, there isn't any on this project.

Maegan's favorite color is purple (she even named her daughter Violet) so I worked in just enough with the sponging to make it pop.  I started with something totally different...gorgeous patterned paper in shades of lavender, but it just didn't come together.  I'm glad I didn't force it because I really like how this card turned out!

The sentiment is from an Our Craft Lounge set called The Journey.  It's a little unconventional for a wedding card...but it's the perfect message for the newlyweds!  The flowers are all My Favorite things dies, the pins are Maya Road and the other beads are from my stash.  I showed my hubby the finished card and he said it had a lot of bling.  I say pfft...really, is that even possible?  LOL!

Here's the inside...the embossed pocket holds a gift card.

Every paper crafter knows it's all about the presentation; am I right?  *grin*  An envelope would just not do for this beauty, so I set to work creating a little box. The sentiment on the box top was computer generated (it's the names of our niece and her groom and the date of their wedding).  The layers used on the card were also used on the box top, another seam binding bow and one tiny rose and leaf complete the box.

I guess that's about it for this one.  Enjoy your day!

THANKS A BUNCH!

Hey there, I wanted to pop in really quick to share a card made with Whipper Snapper Design's Salvador. OMGosh...I fell in love with him the second I saw him!  There's just something about that cooky look on his face.  LOL!  Salvador was colored the same time as Owen (last post) so they share the same colors, papers and some design elements.  Sketch Saturday's layout  was used, but it was rotated to fit the image.

Salvador was stamped three times and fussy cut in layers to make him telescope off the page.  It's a really cool technique, and I wish you could see it in person.  This is a picture from the side...but it really doesn't do it justice!

THINKING OF YOU...

Hey there, I've had this image colored for a while and I'm glad I was finally able to make a card with it.  The stamp is called Owen, and it's from Whipper Snapper Designs.  He's such a sweet little guy, don't you think?  The out-of-the-box with a Nestie technique was used to cut him out, the flower is a My Favorite Things Die-namics die and the sentiment was computer generated.

Here's the inside...the die shifted while I was cutting the flowers for the front so I had to cut another one.  When I started thinking about what I wanted to put on the inside of the card, I remembered the chopped off flower and it was perfect!
