Hey there, today is my friend's birthday...the big 4-0! I just picked up this Whipper Snapper Design stamp called Ainsley and I thought she would be perfect! She was stamped on the main panel and the ground was colored under her before it was embossed. She was stamped a second time, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut then adhered to the main panel. The sentiment was computer generated and colored with Copics. The balloon has Glossy Accents and the glasses/shoes have Sakura Clear Glaze pen. Pretty cute, huh?
Hey there, ever since My Favorite Things came out with the Berry Box die, I've wanted to create a basket filled with strawberries and a matching card. This project was so much fun to make and I love the way it turned out!
I found the perfect stamp from Penny Black called Sweet Day. Isn't she adorable? Two techniques (see below for links) were used on this card: out-of-the-box with a Nestie and paper piecing. She was colored with Copic markers and the paper pieced dress was also colored for a little extra depth. All of the flowers/leaves are MFT dies.
Here's the inside...
I ran across this super cool basket while I was checking out Pintrest and it turns out Rachel from The Little Blue Room shared an awesome tutorial. It can easily be made in three different sizes (I made the middle size). Each of the flaps and handles were sponged with Memento ink and the strawberries are ready to hold your favorite sweet treat or maybe even a little cash.

Hey there, this is my last card for tonight...I promise! Ha! Shocker...another Whipper Snapper Designs card using the Little Yellow Bicycle paper. This guy's name is Lil' Jaxon and isn't he a cutie pie? This is my first attempt at a sponged sky. I kinda like the way it turned out and I'll definitely be doing it again. It adds a lot of character to the image. All of the dies are from My Favorite Things. I love working with them and they are the perfect size for cards!
Hey there, just when I thought I was done posting for the day, I snuck back to post another Whipper Snapper Designs card. This little kitty stamp is called Oliver and I adore him! Since I already had the line of Little Yellow Bicycle out, I went ahead and made the next two cards with it too. Seriously LOVE that paper! The cool collar die is from My Favorite Things.
Here's the inside...pretty simple with the paw print punch.
Hey there, I'm back with the last summer card. This was such a fun card to make! The shark stamp is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is called Pool Shark. He's so stylish in those shades, don't you think?!? Ha! He was stamped three times and colored with Copic markers. Two of the images were fussy cut out and popped up on foam to make him look like he's coming right out of the paper (see the close-up pic below). A Clear Glaze pen was used on the inner tube to give it that plastic appearance. The layout was one that I saw on Mama Dini's blog. If you've never been to her blog, she's amazing!

Hey there, here's another of the Whipper Snapper Designs summer cards that I made recently. This one uses a stamp called The Kiddie Pool. I've admired it for a while and recently broke down and purchased it. It was fun to color and well...it's super cute! I used a Clear Glaze pen on the water droplets, scuba mask and the entire swimming pool. I wanted it to look/feel like a little kid's plastic blow-up pool. The puddles under the pool have Glossy Accents on them.
Here's the inside...I used the new line of Little Yellow Bicycle Splash Collection to cut out the words. Love this paper!
Hey there, can you believe it...two posts in one day! LOL! I did mention in the last post that I started coloring again! I've used a bunch of Whipper Snapper Designs stamps and made up some summer cards. So you know what that means...yep, I need to catch up on my blog posts!
This card uses WSD's The Big Kahuna. Pretty cute, isn't he? He was colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was computer generated. I didn't have a hibiscus flower die, so I had to be creative. The flower is a My Favorite Things die and the stamen is a Quilled Creations die.
Here's the inside...the surfboard was sponged while it was still in the die.
Hey there, it seems like it's been forever since my last post. In February I shared my MIL was diagnosed with brain cancer. She's still hanging in there...she has good days and bad. I haven't had a lot of time to craft over the last few months because I've been helping my 90-year old FIL with his bills and running errands, etc. To be honest, I haven't felt very crafty either. I'm glad to say that I made time for me and started coloring again. I can't tell you how great it feels!
Our Craft Lounge just came out with a new set called Star Spangled and I love it! This flag is so cool and it looks amazing all colored up! I sure wish you could see this one in person; it's a single layer but the coloring makes it look 3D and it pops off the page! I had fun getting inky with some Memento inks too. *grin* The sentiment on the front is from another OCL set called Patriotic Parade.
Here's the inside...I stamped one of the sentiments from Star Spangled, colored it with Copic markers and embossed a star Nestie for the frame. Love it!
