Hey there, well I did it...I finished the card that had been sitting on my desk for a while! It fit perfectly into Alison's (newstampinaddict) VSN challenge, Have an Uh Oh! Christmas! She challenged us to use an elf, animals or children who are being mischievous. Thanks, Alison, for giving me the incentive to get this one done!
The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. The ornament has a few layers of Sakura Clear Glaze pen on it for a nice, subtle shine. The only thing I had to do to finish this was to color the background then layer it all...the rest was already done!

Hey there, these are my last VSN challenge projects for the day unless I can finish the one that's sitting on my desk (no pressure!). This one post contains three of the challenges. I recently purchased the Valerie digi set from Mo's Digital Pencil and I couldn't wait to color them! Waaayyyy too sweet! To conserve time, I used the same Copic markers and pattern paper on all three cards...I just changed up the layout. Love this color combo for Christmas!
This first one is for Alison's (newstampinaddict) It's a Snow Fight challenge. We were to incorporate a snowball or even a snowball fight into our projects. The image is Valerie with Snowball...she was sized then printed and colored with Copic markers.

The challenge was to create snow in any form (stamped, Flower Soft, Stickles, Liquid Applique, etc.), but make it in color...not white! The image, Valerie with Snowman, includes Copic colored snow. Just in case that wasn't enough, a die cut snowflake was added after it was colored with Copic markers. A Sparklet that was colored with V95 completes the card.

Hey there, happy Sunday! I'm jump-starting my day with more VSN challenge cards! This one is for Mary's (Cr8iveME) Northern Flurry challenge. She wants us to emboss on our projects. The image is Floating By from Whipper Snapper Designs. Adorable penguin, huh?
The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar white, colored with Copic markers then fussy cut. There is a really cute snowflake as part of the image, but I masked it and added a die cut snowflake instead (I was just too lazy to cut the other one out). The penguin was stamped a second time on the panel, the sky was colored around him, the panel was embossed with the snow folder then the fussy cut penguin was adhered directly over the embossed panel. The snowflake, Sparklet (snowflake center) and the banners were all colored with Copics to match the project. The layout is an older Sweet Sunday Sketch (#155)...it was perfect for this little guy!

Hey there, this is for my VSN challenge, Wow Me! The challenge is white on white...a colored image is alright (but only on the image). I used Whimsy/Wee Stamps Mountain Lily. She's so pretty! She was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah card stock then colored with Copic markers. Since it's for the VSN challenge, I went with a super easy layout.

Hey there, I'm back with another Up to Snow Good VSN challenge through Splitcoaststampers. This one is for Rosy's (KonaRose), Snow Fun, challenge. She wants us to create a project depicting a snow sport. I chose ice skating and the image is Skating By from Tiddly Inks.
She was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar white then cut out using the out-of-the-box with a Nestie technique. The pattern papers are from Little Yellow Bicycle and aren't really Christmas papers, but they make a super happy winter card! The layout is an older Sweet Sunday Sketch (#193). This card fits into the Tiddly Inks #123 challenge...Christmas, Holidays or a Winter Scene.

Hey there, it's that time again! I've been working behind the scenes making a bunch of cards for the Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) through Splitcoaststampers (SCS)...our overall theme this time around is Up to Snow Good! Are you ready for the first of many??? Here goes...Diane's (aka diane617), Up to NO Good, challenge is to create a naughty card. She wants to see a kinky image, a racy punchline or something punny. I knew this one would be tricky because I don't own any bombshell images. I did a search online and found something I thought might work, so I called my LSS to see if they had it. Nope...d'oh! Cams said they had one with a lady wearing jingle bell earrings. "Wanna jingle my bells?" popped into my head! Perfect, right? *grin* So with that said, meet Eunice...
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA...isn't she a hoot...cough...I mean SEXY!?! Eunice is a "Golden Oldies" from Art Impressions. I met with my buddy, Patty, for a MOT (Memories of Time) play day and this is what we colored. We giggled the whole time! The sentiment was computer generated, Eunice was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah Solar White then she was colored with Copic markers. The top panel of ancient paper (I'm trying to use what's in my stash) was die cut using My Favorite Thing's Blueprints 5 and a bow with, yep...you guessed it...jingle bells tied to it complete the card! So what do you think? Will it pass for naughty, racy or puny? Ha!
